My favorite station might be Shinagawa, because I have an emotional attachment to it. You can redeem a coupon for a JR pass there, they have a Starbucks, it's right across the street from the Shinagawa Prince Hotel, and at night it smells weird. When my husband and I go back to Japan in February I will look forward to the Shinagawa station!

I don't have such wonderful memorys of Shinagawa. I had to transfer at that station everyday and go to a job I didn't like very much. But that is the cool thing about Japan. Every station is full of good and bad memorys. Iidabashi station was the place for me. I lived there for 3 years.

Ikebukuro was home.

Takadanobaba sounded most fun on the announcement.

Shinagawa had shinkansen transfers to exotic places.

And Ebisu had the best departure tone.
